D-Day: driving test

while most, if not all of you ppl were still in your comfy beds dreaming of who knows what... i was shivering, praying and pep talking to myself. seriously, i was so nervous n it's not even spm yet. and for those who've safely got their license already, don't sneer. at that time, u must've been as terrified as i was. well, not terrified exactly....but a lil' worried i guess. all that time, i was praying n praying n well, didn't feel so doomed after that.

anyway...
had time to compose my nerves ( inconvenient things, nerves) cos there were like, so many ppl there all waiting to take the tests too. good thing too actually, so i didn't feel to nervous n alone. i mean how could you right? when the fella nxt to you looks equally as freaked out. haha, ok, maybe i'm stretching the truth a bit. but u get my point.

finally...

"denise ('dennis', *sigh* yet again) ur up nxt" (the guy didn't say that, but it's close if u say it in hokkien). ok, this is it. get up, now breathe.... in out, in out.. yes, that's it. head to the car, no ...9 is it? everything jz happened in a blur. i got into the car (darn kecik kancil), all the while mentally reminding myself to: shift seat, rearview mirror, side mirror, seat belt..... what seat belt? yes, n that's where i made a HUGE really stupid mistake. i eased the car into 1st gear n was abt to go off when the tester gave me a funny look n asked if i'd forgotten anything. "ada lupa apa tak?" . my head screamed "SEAT BELT, SEAT BELT!!!!!!" n denise answered, "o yea... sry, sry... saya lupa." *sheepish grin*

so.... ntg much abt the rd test except that the tester was kinda bullying askin me to speed up. heck! can't you see that i'm nervous already taking this test without having to go faster n who knows, cause an accident in the process which would in turn make u fail me???

and after that, he handed me the pink slip. i, i, i..... PASSED!!! thank God for that. now, for the 2nd part of the challenge. so it was back to the waiting room for another session of staring at the ceiling and alternating with my nails, assesing every1 in the room, daydream.... yeah... wut fun right?

to cut the long story short

the parking, slope, n 3 point turn were a breeze. a breeze to do but i was really nervous abt my slope test. there's like a half-half possibility that i might mess up n go down the slope posterior 1st. happened lotsa times b4.

but i did it!! went up the slope, brake, waited 4 the go ahead sign n revved down the hill. whew! BIG relief. n the rest was history. enough said.

well, the only thing that matters is that i passed. i P-A-S-S-E-D! lulus...!
