what is it about kl and shopping? or is it just me?

i've been here since jan and i've been shopping every weekend. weekends only cos i work on weekdays hence, no time to go out. plus, i have friends to teman me on sats and suns and whatever public hols that come our way. i think i haven't missed a weekend yet.

it's worrying.

so i've been to erm let's see... midvalley, 1u, sunway pyramid, times square, sungei wang, pavillion, bangsar village(s), maju junction, klcc, ikano, cineleisure... yeah i think that's about it. gosh more than enough i think. and i've been coming back with at least an item every single time.

i tried to stop today. but i still ended up purchasing something. got a dress for my sis and something i needed. consumerism is so so strong here i'm almost drawn by it.

must save money d now... so i can splurge one last time before i go home (i can see some eye-rolling haha). which is one more month away by the way... home i mean. gosh i am SOOOOOO looking forward to that! back to my comfy home, people who love me, my mom's home cooked food (don't have to crack my head deciding what and where to eat every day), my car, people to fetch me around, church, college (although i don't like it, but it beats working here hands down) and whatever other stuff i might've missed out. miss it so much. this is my first taste of being independant and i long to come back to be pampered again.




kl... no big deal. so nice meh?




i think i have rather well-toned calves now from all that walking *aiseh* . forced exercise. good for me i guess... since i won't get anymore of that when i get back to the relative comfort of arriving from doorstep to doorstep. i can't wait to not have to climb the steep hill that is angkasapuri. people who work there and walk... i guess they must be pretty fit. probably that's why they need so many refreshment breaks during the day. i can tell you, the canteen at rtm is the most happening place there.



and parking fees in kl malls are so darn expensive!!!! and to top it off, parking is so hard to get.
don't people here have anywhere else to go?
