when the chair falls

why is it that images get stuck in your head and no matter what you do, you just can't seem to shake it off? that defining moment, that particular image; captured and stored in your brain, playing flashbacks every second; making, forcing you to remember. like for instance, you see someone jump of a 30 storey building. i don't think you'll ever forget a sight like that.

i see it everytime i close my eyes.
i see everything so clearly, every single detail of it, even with my eyes opened.
and i hate it.
i so want to forget, but i can't. feel so nauseous everytime i think of it.

and what happens when you see something you don't want to see?
realise that people are just human.
full of mistakes, full of flaws.

does it get harder to look up to them? when they tumble and make a fool of themself.

does it get harder to forgive?
