saturdays part 2

continuation of last week's blog

went to hunza like early.... 12 sumthin. hehe... early. we had prac for our skit dat we were gonna perform dat night... unconventionally (n rather inconveniently) themed 'Hawaiian Nite'. bring out the pineapples n leis, flowery shirts n ..... u get the picture. actually, heheh.. my eyes were kinda blinded by all the bright colours n flower motives. we were swamped by hawaiian shirts n wraparound skirts. no kidding. anyway, we practised a lil' , mostly wiv the powerpuff girls routine n the lights n sound. umm, no yellowcard here, lol.

let me clue u in on wut my group prepared before going in depth cos i think i see lotsa quizzical brows now. basically, it was a skit in 3. haha, blur? let me explain. we made the whole skit seem as if the audience were actually in the cinema waiting 4 the movie to start. so, the comercials roll, n the trailers start. so, we had powerpuff gals n star wars 'trailers' as the appetizers n shota-shota as the main act.

matt n joe came late so, we only managed to really prac at like 6. then, wiv insufficient prac, we jz said " do or die trying" n did it. urm.. after lotsa fussing wiv our dressing. i for one am proud to say dat i didn't wear a wrap skirt. not dat there was anything wrong wiv wearing one. jz dat, everybody was wearing it so, me,pris n qy wore our borrowed happy pants.

so far, it went well (our act), except for rather BIG technical errors for our 1st 2 items. so sad... the powerpuffgals theme song suddenly changed to star wars theme song in the middle. n the comp hanged in the middle of the powerpoint b4 star wars. aikz... i was jz diiissss close to losing it at that point. really. but i haf to commend my team mates 4 pulling it off effortlessly. they r truly, real actors. the ppg- steffy, sab & antz,... i guess the whole thing was ruin but at least they finished the whole thing. star wars - matt, joe, esther,....well, despite the huge technical error, they managed to get the audience ready n laughing together wiv us. n my shota peeps - pris, matt, qy, sab n not forgettin adr (for his running commentary)... hopefully we did do wut we set out to do. dat was to make our audiences sides split wiv too much laughing. did we?

other notable performances were the 5-minute football (really liked dat 1), the chicken dance (which we all did) n westlife. hahar... urm, eastlife.... wtv u wanna call them. it was like, suddenly, the whole place became a concert wiv torches n phones waving in the air. started by renee n me n followed by everyone else. *gleeful grin*. oh yeah... n a fashion show by all of us. real lawak... the runway is sweet, n so is yellowcard's lead singer (his gorgeous eyes anyway). haha.

n the winner? the chicken dance. i really wish i cud say dat my group won but aikz... honesty prevents me from doing so. but overall... i had more fun then i ever had in a long time. we mz haf things like dis more often. wut nxt? poser nite.....? can't wait.
