another day in the life of denise

i was editing some of utt's pics yesterday but somehow (n so frustratingly), i couldn't upload it here. ish! it's so irritating.... so i guess i'll jz haf to settle for the un-edited, boring 1. so sad :-(

well, so far... this week has been pretty happenin, for me dat is. on wed, went to gurney wiv yoong n qian to ask for sponsorships from the stores there -> for our prom. guess what we got for all our trouble...? rm250 worth of vouchers from eng optical. yup, dat's it. DAT's IT!!! can u imagine? we asked almost every shop in dat place n only ONE shop sponsored somethin. really... ppl nowadays r so stingy. o yeah, n it so happened dat all of the managers were 'out' meeting that day. i mean, how cliche is dat? unless it's the 'big meeting' of managers in gurney. is there even sucha thing?? seriously, jz say that u don't wanna donate a single cent instead of lying to our (innocent) faces. we might be young but we sure ain't dumb. one employee of S* was so terrified of us that she leapt back (literally) when i handed her the sponsorship form. how unprofessional. others jz looked blankly when we approached them. dunno if they understood us or not, but they said "no" in the end. sad.

we got really tired of bein lied to and being declined... hey, try gettin that like 20-30 times n see if u like it. but then, there were quite a no. of shops that told us to call their head office (in KL) so... dat's not really declining i guess. but still... a whole day wiv ntg to show except for what EO kindly gave us. in the end, we went to la manila's for tea (which eventually became my dinner... i was positively bloated after dat) becaused qian nursed some strange craving for cake. then, went to look around a bit for accessories, u noe... for the prom.

and today!!! 1st of 10 hours of driving lesson. n guess wut..? i got to drive on the rd!! it was so fun... once i mustered the changin gears n stearing n all dat... it was really not as hard as i initially thought. driving is fun! it went well cept for that one incident when a bus suddenly turned in n i was really near n the instructor was yellin at me to "tak brek, tak BREK!!" (step on the brakes in hokkien) n u know how it is when i panic... my brain jz freezes. so instead, i stepped on the gas pedal n i think, almost gave him cardiac arrest. hehe... sry, but u shouldn't make me panic ya noe... thank gdness my brain went into normal mode again before we crashed. aikz.. things like dat always happens to me i notice. well, at least i know i'm not boring. right? right???

and here's the hottest guy ever... ( don't agree? nvm, to me he is). ladies n men (gentlemen r quite extinct nowadays)... meet UTT, like THE most gorgeous guy ever.
