only 2 days of weekends, WHY?
i love weekends.
i love love weekends.
i love love love weekends.
weekends means rest (though some of my weekends are even busier than my weekdays, like last week), time for friends, church, outings, siesta, family, NO COLLEGE...
ok you get the picture.
during the weekdays, you're bombarded with deadlines, assignments, projects, meetings, lecturers, classmates, colleagues, bosses...
and then you're bombarded with more assignments, meetings and projects which means you have to sacrifice personal time to do, scoldings, stress, people who don't like you, people you can't work with, people who backstab you, people who make you mad, people who're mad at you... the list goes on and on and on.
thank God for weekends is all i can say. a (too) brief break from all the craziness of studying and work. at least i have time to rejuvenate and restore myself before i go out again to face the world. and that's why i love saturdays so much. cos i spend most of it in church. yeah it gets hectic and tiring sometimes especially if i have too many practices, but still... i love being in God's presence and being with people who love Him.
well tomorrow's a monday and i'm still not ready for 5 stressful days of slogging yet.
...
but in everything, give thanks.
(i've gotta keep reminding myself of that)
