back when

i was looking through my old photo albums. when i say old, i mean back when i was still in pampers (oh wait, i don't think they had pampers back then) and still very chubby. i was a fat baby then.




anyway, i was looking further back and man, have you ever come across pictures of your parents back when they were your age? i mean, hahaha it's just so weird to think of them once being like me. and the fashion back then.... *giggle* big hair, big shoulder pads, big everything. oh oh.. and the glasses.... hahaha. i'm just so mean. and my parents looked like they just stepped out of some 80's hong kong movie.

everyone could be a football player then. american football by the way. thing i don't understand is, why can't they call football football instead of soccer? makes life so difficult for us only. football originated from the uk and they call it football. so why in the world is it soccer then in some other places? there's this theory that countries that call football soccer aren't very good at it. hahah. but then, it doesn't explain the standard (or lack) of m'sian football does it? because no matter how much we call football football... it ain't gonna help our national squad much. how sad.

got this during the world cup season last year from a friend. it's not really good but you get the point.

the japs asked god when will their turn come to win the worldcup. god answers "in 50 years time". the japs cry because it'll be a long time still. then the koreans asked the same question. god says "in 100 years". koreans cry because they might not live to see it. lastly, the m'sians asked god when will their turn come. this time god cries because he doesn't know if he'll still be there to see it.

*sigh* and speaking of which, liverpool's been having a dry run from a promising start. how can? kek sim (heartache) when i see them sliding lower the club standings every week. haihhhhh.... but thank goodness for torres.
