hiking and me

i'm unfit.
very very unfit.

hiked up botanical gardens today with the canoing gang (and a few more). started off very optimistic and energetic but halfway through... legs aching, short of breath, and worse of all... i felt like puking!! i mean, the previous two i can deal but the puking part... ugh! so had to wait like approx. 10 mins for the nausea to subside before i could continue.

but didn't puke. hehe... poor shaun had to like babysit me the whole time because the trail was kinda dangerous (plus i might've been looking a bit green after the climb). but then, the view kinda made up for the discomfort in going up. no pictures though... sadly. you'll just have to use your God-given imagination to picture the cooling forest. lush greenery, cicadas humming, water bubbling gently in the brook..

very very beautiful. unfortunately, was a bit too tired to enjoy fully it.

by the way... i hate hiking. the hate has just been reconfirmed.
