the old tuition days
this is gonna be a post with lots of pics. you know.. people in general prefer visuals to words, and besides, i'm taking up kenneth's challenge to take more pictures.
during after-tuition hours.. the road is usually very full with dedicated parents.

met up with tabby and min li there. the "maths sisterhood". because at one time, we were all quite weak at add maths (what else?) so, had to stay for after hours tuition. which was actually kinda fun because we did more talking than maths.
on a typical thursday evening (for me it is, but for the other 2, every tues and thurs), we 3 would go to genting (the coffeshop) for dinner after tuition class.
tabby used to order s'ng kak teh (iced tea) because it was the cheapest.
and char koay kak too... i know this, because she used to eat that like every week without fail.
o kuey (yam cake). i scrapped off all the dried onions and whatever else on top off mine. hehe.
but this time, since min li's leaving for aus very soon, we decided to splurge a little (end of the month equals to less than enough money) on pizza. the box is so cute, they actually have these jigsaw pieces which i wanted to take out but couldn't.
hawaiian chicken. hawker pizza is not bad, not bad at all...
which reminds me, it's been ages since i ate at my favourite burger stand. the guy who sells it is seriosuly cool. hehe. he makes his burgers like really slowly, taking his own sweet time, frying the patties, slowly folding the meat, veggies into the omelette nicely. plus, he gets added marks for good choice of music. and not only that, he even looks like an ex convict. cool eh?
all good things, unfortunately, have to come to an end. *burp*
i know.. i know... i'm a straw biter. so sue me.
does this alley look sinister or what? taking in the sights and sounds of genting.
tabby buying sourplus at the mini mart.
reliving the sourplus challenge days. i still remember, the last time we did that, i had a bad stomachache and skipped school the next day. maybe it shouldn't be eaten together with char koay teow. i'll never know.
this challenge: to stuff 8 of em into our mouths at one go.
dividing equally among us. and yes.. it IS very tiring to have your mouth full of sour candy and to chew and chew and chew and chew....
maybe i should've just sneaked some of mine for the dog. hehehand yeah, it's great seeing ms lee again. seeing my ex-tuition mates again too. even if it's only just two of them. and looking at the form 1's there having class at that time, man, it's like deja vu. when i was just a little 13 year old... so young and naive... haha. but that, is really another story.
