cheqUP

i'll always remember...
-many people's sweat, toil, work, tears, prayers, visions and dreams; before, during and after the conference.
-the awesome presence of God throughout cheqUP

i'll never forget...

-clinton's faith in our band
-the continuous encouragement and advice from the seniors
-being a band member and also the joys of performing

i'll always cherish...

-greeting new and old faces, and signing them up during registration on the first day

-helping out during the carnival on the 2nd day. setting up and manning my baseball throw booth was so cool despite the unforgiving heat and the constant crawling to pick up balls. not to forget, pumping and tying those balloons together.. a mammoth task which we managed to finish.

-the cheqUP ushers and being part of that wacky fun-loving team. how can i forget terrorizing the people with our extremely loud "hi's" and "byes" on the last morning!

i'll always be inspired...

-whenever i remember the praise and worship throughout the 3 nights. we ROCKED the place for God!!! the FGA band from kl and our own YAS band were more than great! it was truly one of the sweatiest and tiring times but no one cared! everyone was just having a blast jumping around and praisin God like there was no tomorrow. really.

-by all the lives saved during those 3 days. including the soundman's which was so amazing.

-by Pas. daniel singh's sermons. ok, i'll have to admit i didn't pay attention sometimes but it did inspire me irregardless.

i'll always keep dear to my heart...
-picking up rubbish during our community service. also, almost picking up dogpoo and underwear, sitting in gerakan's meeting room and jacky 'belanja-ing' us "roadside stall drinks".
-9 of us piling into man yoke's car
-hanging out in my house and antz too. lying down and talking nonsense and laughing like wounded baboons.

and i'll always dream of...
-cheqUps on a larger scale
-being a part of it all
-bringing the people of pg to Jesus

unrelated talk:
i heard somewhere (forgot the source) that the proper amount of time to wash your hands is equivalent to singing Happy Birthday twice. so... if you hear me singing happy b'day in the toilet, I AIN'T INSANE aight!

cheq up was awesome indeed.

haha..about the hand washing right, at work(burger king) we are supposed to wash(incl soap) our hands for 20 seconds, that is the requirements for health and safety.
