for the ladies

here's one reason to save your virginity til you get married.

did you know that having an active sex life with multiple partners especially is the leading cause of cervical cancer for women. it is not caused by exposure to radiation or the food that you eat.
surprising yes?

it's actually because there's a certain virus or something (look, medical terms just floor me ok) called HPV which 80-90% causes the cells at the cervix to change and hence, a very probable chance of getting cervical problems, and possibly cancer. HPV only, and i repeat, ONLY comes from guys (don't ask me why) and is transfered through... duh! intercourse, because during sex, the penis comes into contact with the cervix and there you have it.

and how do i know? we had a gynae come and for an interview during the TRAXX 101 health what not interview. and i had to layan the guests cos my colleague had to be somewhere else. it was sufficiently awkward, i was never good at making small talk... sadly. but at least i had to listen to the interview. which i found very informative. i mean, it made me learn more about my own body.

anyway, if you must have sex, be safe please, and try to stick to as few partners as possible. and to all women, remember your pap smear. gosh i can't believe this has come up. haha.

well, i'm just relaying what i heard. so if i didn't get any of the medical mumbo jumbo right, feel free to correct me.
