shooting shlooting shot
i saw a rainbow yesterday... obviously it was pretty. i was pretty exhausted then but somehow things like rainbows or stars or lights in between clouds make me forget my tiredness, at least for awhile.
yesterday i did a good deed. umm no, i didn't donate to charity.
didn't feed the hungry children
no, it wasn't adopting a child from an impoverished third world nation either.
heh ok now i'm a bit embarassed.
actually i helped my seniors by acting in their psa (public service announcements, you know... "tak nak" and all that?). i mean, they asked me to ahem 'star' for them and i generously put aside my time for them. ok no, i was just kidding! i mean, yeah i did act for them but it was no biggie. i would like to say it was quite fun but... it was actually rather boring. the endless waiting for your turn, reshoot reshoot reshoot... never did like shooting. but then, it was a new experience. like the photoshoot last year. what's next huh? vj-ing? that'd be cool i think. we should try everything once in life right?
so the theme was wife abuse (i think!). and my small part was of the grown up version of the daughter of the family. you know... showing the effects of seeing your mom getting beaten by your dad in the long run. had to act all emo and sad and disturbed. which wasn't that hard cos i just had to look serious and dreamy and sad. i was so afriad i'd burst out laughing halfway while the camera was rolling. lol.
today's the crying scene. haih. i hate to fake-cry.
actually, i've come to realise that i have no passion for film. as in, in dramas, commercials and the sort. but i do like studio productions (talk shows and stuff) and theatrical stuff. it's more fast paced and exciting and less complicating to me. for film, it's "silence on set, camera rolling, action!..... cut!! retake". boring stuff. but in the studio, you usually get to do it once only. there's no screwing up... plus, i like to do stuff that doesn't require me to move around from place to place and work at odd hours.
i always like before and after pictures.
so this is ths studio before the "live"show
and during. made me feel christmassy for an hour. felt quite dejected when it was time to pack up and get back to september.
i have one gripe: everything's always always in chinese. sigh!
