1st day.... continuation

dis is us ( te, ross n mua) . n dis thing here is our baby. it actually works u noe. if u step on da pedal, da lid opens. not bad huh? n dis pic was taken minutes b4 strikin camp. it was like killin ur own flesh n blood to take it apart...

where was i? o yea... da d.u. so, we took de whole afternoon 2 build it (i hv no idea y it took so long wen we cud actually finish it in a few hrs, weird...) . by da time we finished, it was almost 6pm. tired, sweaty n hungry... we trooped into da hutment 4 dinner (which was char bee hoon) n every1 ate outta da fryin pans. dere was even a nail in 1 of dem. quite gross i noe, but dis is camp life man.... it's all abt roughin it out in da [almost] wilderness, mosquito infested area (hopefully no1 got dengue after dat).

later, da 'official' campfire nite. i was quite blur at dat time cos i was quite sleepy n it was rainin heavily. so, we were sheperded into da HQ (err... coronation's supposedly most sacred place) for shelter. i was like, wtv... i dun even noe wut i'm supposed 2 do in here n y we're waitin 4 so long. but luckily, i had te n guo qiang to tok 2 me. haha... we were actually havin a nice time tokin bad abt sum pesuruhjaya who kept askin every1 2 shaddup wif his bengis face (no other words can describe it, i'm afraid). den finally, as i was abt 2 faint from exaustion (dat, was an exaggeration, unfortunately)... da 'most' awaited VIP, or rather Very Late Person muncul at last. our vry own chief minister. yea, it u read today's newspaper, u wud hv seen de article abt us.

after 2 dreadfully, awfully looooonnnngg speeches abt guidin n scoutin friendships n da new campsite in teluk bahang... we sang negaraku. n den, suddenly, dere was a blackout!! we're tokkin complete darkness here. so lawak. i dunno how many ppl elbowed n grinned at me in da darkness. wen light was restored again, * big sigh* miraculously b4 da song ended... a guy glided down from da tree dey usually use 4 flyin fox (to dose who noe) n got tersangkut halfway. another lawak thing. n after dat, da fire lightin ceremony.

we went bac after HE left. n missed da dance competitions. wut lar... i heard da nxt day dat while sxi was dancin (mybeloved sub-camp) , da pfs-ians (1 HUGE group who came as helpers) laughed n jeered at dem. dat almost started a fight, or so i'm told. sad i missed all dat.
